The Playback Controls

 

 

Play

 

To begin playback, click the green play button.

Pause/Stop

 
Once started, the piece may be paused or stopped.

Pressing stop will reset the music to the beginning, whilst pausing will enable you to resume your place by pressing play.

Press the red stop button to stop completely

or the green pause button to hold your place

 

 

 

Fast Forward/Rewind

 

Once a piece is playing, you can click on the fast forward or rewind arrows to quickly move throughout a piece.

To do this, ensure the piece is playing then click the double arrows once to advance or reverse the cursor.  Once you have the music in the desired spot, click the play button to resume at normal speed.

Repeat Mode

 

When repeat mode is turned on the current piece will play continuously until stopped.  This is especially useful when setting a short section to practice, repeat mode will loop the selected section.

 

To turn repeat mode off, simply click the repeat button again.

Volume Control

 

The volume knob controls the level of sound output.

To alter the level, click and hold the mouse button and rotate the knob with a circular motion.

Tempo Control

 

Tempo control works the same as the volume knob.

To alter the tempo, click and hold the mouse button and rotate the knob with a circular motion.

 

If you are having difficulty with a piece, try it at a slower tempo.
