This feature allows you to swap the current score with a new arrangement.
To swap in a new score, select the swap score button from the mini toolbar.
Choose an alternate Sibelius or Sibelius Scorch file from the 'Open' box.
Swap Score is used with existing Starplay content.
Choose Swap Score to insert a new score or change the existing score to play with the accompaniment. The new or modified score should have the same basic musical parameters as the original score. Ie number of bars, time signature, harmonic pattern etc.
Select the sheet music for a title in the Starplay Starter library from Share Music and open it in Sibelius. Now add any annotations or markings for the students to use in the performance of the piece. These could be bowings, phrasing etc.. Now swap the score back into Starplay and use as before with customized annotations and markings.
Select any Blues tune in Starplay. Look for the score or corresponding chord chart in the sheet music library and Open in Sibelius. Now create your own blues, your melody or jazz exercise. Save the score. Open the selected Blues title in SP and Swap Score. Now play your blues melody with SP.
