Working in offline mode allows you to access previously downloaded content or open scores on your computer, without requiring internet access.
To work within offline mode, you will need to:
| 1. | Log in to Starplay online. |
| 2. | Exit Starplay without logging off. To do this, select 'Exit' from the File menu or close the Starplay window using the X in the top right hand corner. |
| 3. | Once this dialog appears, click 'Yes'. |
Starplay will check for an internet connection when starting up. If Starplay cannot connect you will automatically be placed in offline mode.
Whilst Starplay is running, an icon residing in the dock will notify you when switching from online to offline mode, or vice versa.
Whilst operating in offline mode you may:
| • | Use previously downloaded content |
| • | Open scores residing on your computer |
| • | Setup and tune your instrument |
You cannot:
| • | Access the 'More Music' content within the library |
| • | Download or purchase music from the library |
